MacroDivers Academy

Practical education for divers and underwater photographers who want to find, photograph, identify and protect the small wonders of the underwater world.

What Is the MacroDivers Academy?

The Academy is the learning section of MacroDivers.com. It brings our educational guides together in one place, covering responsible macro diving, underwater photography techniques, nudibranch biology, marine life behaviour and practical camera skills.

The aim is simple: to help divers become better observers, better photographers and better guardians of the fragile habitats where macro life is found.

Diving Safety & First Aid

Why It Matters

Macro diving often takes place close to sand, rubble, hydroids, sponges and other habitats that may look plain at first glance but are full of life. Good diving technique and patient photography make a real difference.

Great macro images should never come at the expense of the subject, the habitat, your buddy or your own dive safety. The Academy is designed around that principle.
