MacroDivers

Accessibility Statement

MacroDivers is a small independent website. We want the site to be practical, readable and accessible for divers, photographers and marine life enthusiasts using different devices and assistive technologies.

Our Aim

We aim to follow the spirit of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, currently using WCAG 2.2 AA as the practical reference point for new work where possible.

What We Have Worked On

  • Meaningful page titles, headings and meta descriptions.
  • Alternative text for images.
  • Responsive layouts for mobile and desktop screens.
  • Keyboard-friendly links and navigation structure.
  • Readable content structure with semantic HTML.
  • Sitemaps and structured data for search and assistive discovery.

Known Limitations

Some older PDF downloads, infographic images or legacy pages may not yet be as accessible as normal HTML text. Some infographic content is visual by nature, although important page content is also provided in the surrounding article text where possible.

Reporting Accessibility Problems

If you find something on MacroDivers that is difficult to use, read or navigate, please contact us. It helps if you include the page URL, what device or browser you used, and what went wrong.
