Geographic Distribution
Indo-Pacific Ocean.
Identification
A large Aeolid (may be up to 100mm). Very variable in colour. The body varies from light to dark brown or orange - but is not that visible due to the large and dense cerata. The cerata have white blotchy spots and the tips have a blue and then orange band. The rhinophores are papillate and they also have thick oral tentacles.
Behaviour / Habitat
Usually found amongst rocks in shallow waters where it feeds on sea anemones.
